Giant

by Brandy Ferguson

The giant water park was filled with hundreds of thousands of gallons of water.  For the many visitors this meant hours of fun and a refreshing time, cooling off in the Texan heat.

My two babies and I waited while the other members of the family ventured towards the wet slide in the sky.  As we sat underneath the gigantic slide, the tubes passing overhead caused the water to splash out onto the ground around us.  The water trickled downhill and my little ones loved playing in the puddles.

I laughed when I thought about how ironic it was - this small amount of water, left over from this big ride, brought such enjoyment for the boys!  Out of all the water in the park, the little trickle was everything we needed to keep us happy.

God is so big and so great and He is more than enough!

"Mightier than the thunder
of the great waters,

mightier than the breakers
of the sea –

the Lord on high is mighty."

Psalms 93:4 (NIV)
