Gee Dad’s noisy by
During a meeting of young people, always a noisy affair, three parents sat in an adjacent room, chatting about all sorts of things.
“Gee Dad, you’re noisy!!!” Immediately Peter quietened down, letting everyone know he had been ‘told’.
At the end of proceedings as people filed out Peter just couldn’t resist asking the other kids whether he had been noisy. Every one of them replied, “We didn’t even hear you.”
The intimacy of the father–daughter relationship meant that Cassie heard her father’s voice above the other plethora of noise.
