Gap fillers

by Bruce Wadd

At our home we have a spare room.  Having recently shifted, this was the last room to really be given ‘unpacking’ attention, and thus became a dumping ground for things that we weren’t sure about keeping.

We now notice that this room continues to be a place where ‘stuff’ just seems to congregate because the room has no key purpose.  It has become a ‘gap filler’, where things just occupy the space for no reason.

Your life today can be exactly the same.  Wandering along without aim or purpose, even though you may be a child of God, and anything that comes along can grab your attention.

Ponder this…we are filled with either good or evil.  God desires and plans for your life to really count, to make a difference to others, because He has a future plan for you.  Here is some wisdom to act upon…

“But ask the Lord Jesus Christ to help you live as you should, and don’t make plans to enjoy evil.”
Romans 13:14

Today, let Jesus fill the gap!
