Frog pond celebration

by Bruce Wadd

After months of drought and dusty walking on my morning walk, following constant overnight thunderstorms and showers, I faced something new - a frog pond!

As I rounded the bend with my trusty canine companion, I became aware of this increasing noise in the distance. A distant roar, normally associated with a large pond or lake filled with aquatic life, was coming from the bush not far from my walking track.

My inquisitive nature had me careering through the bush towards this overbearing noise. As I got closer it became more obvious that hidden in the trees and bushes was a pond, created by overnight rain. It was filled with crickets, toads, frogs and many unknown aquatic life, all celebrating the finish of the dry season.

Finally, their home was restored, and they were celebrating loudly! Things were as they should be! Water had returned, and life was joyous!

The restoration of human life should cause loud celebration.

When you discover the truth about your eternal destiny, and are released into your new found freedom in Christ, the partying should continue unabated and unashamedly! Life for you will never be the same again!

Don’t be quiet! Start celebrating, because you no longer need to be the same!

“You are a new person in Christ - a new life has begun!”

2 Corinthians 5:17

TODAY, get out there and celebrate… loudly!
