Free computer giveaway

Once, when working for a group of schools, I was given many ex-government computers to giveaway – an easy way to become popular with teachers and principals.

The only requirement was that schools actually had to respond to the request. The amazing thing is that only half the schools that were offered this special arrangement took the opportunity.

At pick-up time, some did it graciously, others asked for more, and others, seeing the huge pile of computers, wished that they had requested many more.

The Gospel is similar. Not everyone responds! Some are overwhelmed with the offer, others are excited, and amazingly, not everyone collects the gift.

How have you responded to God’s free giveaway? Unlike computers, accepting the Gospel will lead you to a whole new life, under-pinned by a relationship with a wonderful person….Jesus Christ!
