Follow the leader

by Bruce Wadd

There were fifty of them … five and six year olds, out to have a good time for the last fifteen minutes of school on a Friday afternoon.

So what does a relief teacher do to survive the bitter end of the day with so many kids? That’s right … he becomes a little crazy!

Imagine this grown man waving his arms, doing weird steps, twirling, ducking and diving, smiling, growling, jumping, and rolling, and you get a picture of me playing ‘Follow the leader’.

The kids loved it, especially the really weird things.  Then we could sit down right before the bell goes and laugh together about all the things we had done.

Ready for some God’s wisdom?

“You must have the same attitude
that Christ Jesus had … He took the humble position

of a slave and was born as a human being.”

Philippians 2:5,7

What does that mean for you and I? If Christ had not humbled Himself like this, we’d all be lost!

It’s up to both you and me to … FOLLOW THE LEADER, TODAY!
