Fishing in the Bath Tub

Next time you get the urge to go fishing, why don’t you short cut the preparation and travelling time? Go to the nearest water hole you’ve got available – your bath tub! Fill it up, get out your fishing gear, drop in a line, and enjoy the experience of chasing the big ones!

What an absolutely stupid idea! Fancy even thinking about fishing where you know there are no fish. Why would you even consider such a silly thing?

But, let me ask you, have you been doing that in your spiritual life? Fishing where there are no fish? Believing that you won’t ever get through the challenges and problems in your life?

Jesus Christ has died and risen again, so that you can live a victorious life. Sin, fear and the devil have no more power in your life. Today, I wanted to encourage you to claim victory in Him.

TODAY, go fishing… in a lake, river or the ocean where there are huge fish just waiting to be caught!
