First plane out by Bruce Wadd
The roar of the first jet out knifed the predawn stillness. It was noticeable, even when I was busy exercising.
One morning I watched a plane from one horizon to the other, and then had a profound thought. ‘There always has to be a first … every day!’
Wow … maybe not that profound, but true!
My question to you … what are you called to be? Has God sowed in your heart a ‘first’ in some area?
Stepping into God’s calling for your life will probably mean pushing into new territory. I trust your passion and desire … your ‘lights blazing’ … will come from a deep relationship with your Lord and Saviour, Jesus.
He can and will sustain you as you push into this new day!
“My strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.” Psalms 121:2
TODAY, turn onto Him as you step out!

happen to live over the flight path for planes leaving my city to
southern destinations. In the cold winter stillness, the blazing
lights of the exiting plane announce the arrival of the new day.
