Finally… the end! by
The last few hundred metres of a marathon; the end of a painful battle with cancer; a drug-induced ruination of a young life; the end of a really bad movie that you didn’t want to see; the last day of a long holiday with people you don’t like!
In life there are moments when you realize the end of something really uncomfortable or painful is nigh. You have borne this great burden for minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or even years! And now the finish is imminent!
Without attempting to explore an answer, let me pose a greater question, which may lead to some conclusion.
Your life, what’s the point? Why are you here? What gets you up and keeps you going every day? What are you really worth?
Eventually there will be a close, to your life. Death will bring down the closing curtain, and you need to have an answer to these vital questions!
