Feeling warm inside

by Vyrona Parker

Imagine a wood fire crackling in the corner of the room, a comfortable chair, the sound of rain on the roof, a nice cup of hot chocolate on the side table and a good book to read.

Pleasure comes in these gloomy days, not that I can do it often, but even the thought makes me feel warm inside.  Even though it’s bitterly cold outside, the warmth of the fire fills the room and me as well.

It reminds me of the Holy Spirit’s warmth.  You can’t see the Spirit, but you can feel its work in your life.

You can see the changes it makes; the warmth it portrays when it’s working within.  Love, joy, peace, goodness, and gentleness – its fruits all make you feel warm inside when they are shared

Share this warmth with those whom you meet today!

”And let us not get tired of doing what is right,

for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing

if we don’t get discouraged and give up.”

Galatians 6:9
