Extreme makeover by
For those that haven’t seen the show, every week several people are featured working through a several month process where they are physically transformed.
The results are often amazing, with facelifts, dental makeovers, hair transplants, nose jobs, breast enhancements to name a few. The cost, even though unknown, must be exorbitant. The pain must be incredible, given the amount undertaken in such a short time period.
My cynical self often questions the value of these makeovers, particularly if you could revisit these people’s lives in several years’ time. What has really changed? Are they still the same person inside or not?
I just know that when God does an ‘extreme makeover’, He births a new person, from the inside. They are not the same anymore, a new life has begun.
Real transformation happens internally first, and then becomes evident to the world!
“For God took the sinless Christ and poured into Him our sins. Then, in exchange, He poured God’s goodness into us.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
TODAY, let Jesus do a makeover on the inside!

With reality TV taking
hold of our viewing over the last few years, one of the programs that has my
attention is ‘Extreme Makeovers’. 
But
the real delight comes when family and friends, who have been denied access,
are invited to be guests at a special ‘reveal’ event, getting to see the
special person’s transformation for the first time.
