Exercise resistance

You wake up knowing that again you need to exercise.  It’s a daily habit, but it still doesn’t seem to get any easier, particularly in the colder weather!

 

You know you need to, but just have to drag yourself.  Then as you get into the daily routine again the enjoyment and engagement levels rise till at the end you’re feeling great.

 

Spiritual disciplines are the exactly same (maybe not all the time though!) What are these habits?  Let me give you my list…

 

Ø       communication with God

Ø       fellowship with others

Ø       reading His Word

 

Yes, that’s right ... there are many times where I still find myself dragging me into these habits, but, like physical exercise, by the end I am really rocking along!

 

It’s worth pushing through … the resistance barrier!  Here’s Paul the Apostle’s attitude …

 

“So, whatever it takes, I will be one

 who lives in the fresh newness of life

 of those who are alive from the dead.”

Philippians 3:11

 

Rise from your deadness, TODAY!  Live freely in Him!
