Don’t know what I don’t know by
It’s an embarrassing place to be… discovering that you didn’t know that you were unaware of something really important. And that happens at any stage of life!
I recall learning about many sexual things as an early teenager in the back of our school bus. Painfully aware of how naive I was, the jokes told showed my lack of knowledge. I tried in vain to laugh at the appropriate times, to sound intelligent, and thus hiding my inexperience, but one day I was caught out.
The embarrassment was like a knife piercing my body. To discover I didn’t know that I didn’t know etched a life memory at that very moment.
You too have faced moments of humiliation and self-discovery during your life, and have survived to tell the story. What is there hidden in those memory banks?
Let me uncover a fact that I discovered at seventeen, and have never been the same since. Jesus died and rose again for me… and you too! He wants to uncover many truths about Himself, and how much He cares for you. He won’t ever embarrass you with not knowing!
Why not spend a moment letting God speak to you now!
“And this is the way to have eternal life – by knowing you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.” John 17:3
Today, share the love of Jesus with someone that doesn’t know!
