A dog’s love

by Bruce Wadd

There is something special about a puppy’s greeting.  With the tail almost wagging itself off, the dog welcomes any attention with unbridled enthusiasm.

Our family’s new puppy just overflows with excitement when we first get up and say good morning.  If he could smile there would be a huge grin on his face showing the exhilaration of once again seeing his owners.  His love just abounds!

Then he’s into a game.  At the moment it is nipping hands, and every time I push him away he just comes back for more – he just won’t give up!

Maybe you should be that way with God.  Just keep coming back to him for wisdom, love, acceptance and energy for the day.

God instructs you wisely,

“… let us come boldly to the very throne of God

and stay there to receive his mercy and to find grace

to help us in our times of need.”

Hebrews 4:16

TODAY, take your lesson from a dog!
