Dirty water by
Once the work truck was unloaded from a day’s hard and dirty labour it was time for bathing. When the water tanks were getting dangerously low the family took special precautions. One of those special rules was that we would only use the one amount of bath water for the whole family. The cleanest person always bathed first, working through to me… I was always the dirtiest!
“How could I possibly get clean from dark brown water that barely covered my legs?” I used to ask myself every time. But amazingly I did!
Sometimes when you look at yourself in a more spiritual sense, you ask yourself the question, ‘How could I ever be clean? How could this evil in my life ever disappear? It would take a miracle!’
Well, a miracle has happened. Jesus’ blood has made your clean; washed you spotless, so that you no longer need to be conquered by evil! What great news!
“Jesus suffered and died outside the city, where His blood washed our sins away.” Hebrews 13:12
TODAY, accept that you are clean in His blood!

severe drought in Australia many stories of struggle and heroism come to the
surface. It always reminds me of my ‘country’ roots, and one of the drought
stories worth telling.
