Dirt in your beer by
“If you haven’t got dirt in your beer…you’re not at a real race.”
Think for a moment about what it is promoting. Some of you will have guessed that it has to do with Speedway racing, where dirt often flies.
Not being a beer drinker, I maybe don’t appreciate the full intent of this advertising, but immediately I can apply this to other things.
Your Christian life? Could you apply the saying to how you are living at the moment?
“If you haven’t got love in your heart…you’re not really in the race!”
“Keep your eyes on Jesus, our leader and instructor. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterwards; and now he sits in the place of honour by the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2
