Dark wall contrast by
All the rage at the moment in home renovations is painting one wall of a room in a darker colour or shade. Thus in our desire to modernise our home office my wife and I decided to paint one wall a much darker shade of green.
My wife decided to use the contrast to highlight an unusual shaped vase alongside a modern sculpture. The result was much more prominent and visually pleasing than I could have expected.
On a much wider scale, our humanity, when put next to God’s character, screams contrast. The wonderful love of divinity next to our humanity; what a black and white distinction!
Praise God that Jesus’ death opens the possibility of shattering the contrast... by making our lives identical to Christ’s!

What a contrast it was!
The darker colour opened up many new decorating possibilities previously
unavailable through using only light colours. You could now see things more
clearly.
