Just couldn’t resist by Bruce Wadd
I began attending began my brother’s church recently and was intrigued by an older lady sitting in front of us. When she realized that we were guests from ‘out-of-town’, she began digging in her handbag.
My wife and I both witnessed God’s calling in action. This grey-haired church member couldn’t resist living out her part in the body of Christ – being hospitable to others!
Which part of the body are you? What draws you irresistibly? What brings you deep and long lasting pleasure? This is most likely your gifting in His church!
“All of you together are the one body of Christ and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:27

Before
long, she had a pen and a small card in her possession, and she began
feverishly writing. Before we knew it, she turned around and handed my wife
a welcome card, wishing us a happy Sabbath day - and this was all during the
church service!
