Connected
I scooped up my two year old and sat down with him on one side of my lap, then picked up our other baby - our one year old! As we sat and read our favourite puppy book together, the day seemed to melt away with all its chaos and concerns.
Nothing will ever be able to steal away the joy of that moment. It's not about the book or the game or what you do in the moment. Rather, it's being in it with them - fully spent, captivated by these precious little creatures, connecting with them in a way that we'll never forget!

book was soon finished, and then he declared it was time for ’this little
piggy’ and then ’patty cake’. Our feet somehow connected to one another's,
as we laughed and giggled, enjoying each other's company.
