“Good morning, come through,” said the doctor. His manner was pleasant and inviting, as he gradually worked through the full waiting room of patients.
His waiting room door is always open, 24 hours every day of the year. That’s right; I’m no longer talking about the doctor in the hospital surgery, but about God. If you knock on His door He has promised to invite you in and listen.
But more importantly, He’ll give you His ideas about the next step of your journey, if you are willing to listen.
“Ask and you will
receive; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find,
and the door will
be opened to him
who knocks.”

The
people, with all different types and levels of sickness, came out of his
surgery seemingly at peace, looking like they at least had some answers to
their current situation.
