Clarity now

by Bruce Wadd

Most mornings haze over the mountains means my view is OK, but not great.

But then comes the storms - the overnight tropic downpour clearing the air.  In the morning, it gives an un-interrupted view of a magnificent vista pleasing to the eye.

So often in our humanity we look at the impending clouds of adversity, the thundering presence of pain and distress, the flashing threat of lightning-charged negativity and feel overwhelmed.

My encouragement and challenge to you today, is to remember that storms also pass. Take a walk the next morning, and experience the clarity of fresh thought and deeper wisdom because you have been willing to celebrate and be thankful.

“Always be full of joy in the Lord;

I say it again, rejoice!”

Philippians 4:4

Remember, clarity will come!
