Check speed by
With many freeways having tolls in my city more and more drivers are taking advantage of an eToll system where a windscreen-fixed transponder beeps every time the car is driven through a booth. It avoids having to stop, saving both money and time.
The separate ‘no stopping’ eToll lane has a speed limit of 60 kilometres per hour, but I regularly see vehicles traveling up to twenty K’s faster until recently.
An eToll speed indicator has been introduced, simply flashing each vehicles speed as it approaches the transponder receiver. 70, 68, 65, 62… flashes the electronic device!
I simply noted a change in behaviour. Since the speed indicator has been installed, traffic speeds have dropped considerably, and now most traffic is on or below the speed limit.
What does this tell me? I am guessing that once people are actually aware of ‘being seen’, their choices are significantly altered.
Today, what are you hiding? If a video camera could transmit your actions, thoughts and feelings to those around you, would it change your choices? I know I would often been incredibly embarrassed – I am so overwhelmingly human!
God can see what’s going on! I wonder what do you need to declare… to Him?
"Can anyone hide from me? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?" asks the LORD. Jeremiah 23:24
What speed are you doing?
