Car park rage by Bruce Wadd
My wife turned into the recently vacated car park, the weekend before Christmas. Like the rest of the world, it seemed, we were visiting the shopping centre for our final shopping jaunt before this annual family time.
Before the car was put into park and the handbrake applied a driver came around the corner waving furiously out his window. She was screaming all sorts of unmentionables, looking directly at my innocent wife - car park rage was in full swing!
I sat there and thought, ‘Christmas shopping gets really ‘tacky’ when you have to fight for car parks!’
What’s really going on for these people? What’s really driving this person?
Could you take all the energy invested in rage, whatever forms it and invest it into positive peace!
What do I mean? I believe God has too many important things for you to be wasting away energy on such distractions. Remember we have been left with something too valuable to lose…
“I am leaving you
with a gift – peace of heart and mind! And the peace I give isn’t fragile
like the peace the world gives. So DON’T be troubled or afraid!”
