Captured breeze

by Bruce Wadd

Ever tried capturing summer’s pleasant breeze?  Have you tried putting it into a jar, screwing on the lid, and smugly sharing with the person watching that you now have that breeze captured?

They’d look at you knowing that you had ‘lost it’!

Of course, you know that a breeze has ceased to exist once it’s in the jar.  It’s powerless!

Take the same breeze, and let it be captured by a sail and watch the difference! The wind gives movement to the boat.  It’s not captured.  Rather, it’s captivating!

Likewise, the Holy Spirit cannot be captured and controlled.  It merely needs to invited and allowed to work in your life, but the results will be clearly evident.

“Now your attitudes and thoughts must all be constantly changing for the better.  Yes, you must be a new and different person, holy and good.

Clothe yourself with this new nature.”

Ephesians 4:23,24

TODAY, let the Spirit blow into your sail!
