Burst through

by Bruce Wadd

It’s a cold and bleak winter’s day.  Grey clouds hang across the dull looking sky.  A sharp biting wind lashes my beautiful sub-tropical garden with its rare bitter touch.  And I am sitting behind glass doors appreciating the warmth of inside.

All of a sudden there is a break in the cloud.  The sun bursts through, directly onto my face, and like a vacuum cleaner on full suction, the sun’s rays magnetize me to that spot.  What a delight on this cold dreary day!

It only lasted for moments, but what a change came over my soul!  There was hope.  There was pleasantness outside, despite the cold and grey.

God shining into your heart can do even more.  The touch of the Son can soften the hardest heart, warm the coldest life, and transform the worst situation!  You can begin appreciating any experience with a new sense of perspective… when He arrives.

“Restore to me again the joy of Your salvation,

and make me willing to obey You.”

Psalms 51:12

Are you letting Him into your life?
