Broken tiles

by Bruce Wadd

At the front entrance of our renovated home we had new tiles laid.  They looked fabulous until I decided to back the car across the lawn to the edge of this handiwork.

My judgement in reversing was only several centimetres astray. As I was coming to a stop I heard a rather unfortunate snap, and immediately applied the brakes.  Upon inspection several tiles couldn’t cope with the weight and had cracked under the pressure.

Not being very diligent with repair work it wasn’t until the weekend that I attempted to reglue the broken pieces, only to discover one small portion had gone missing amongst the grass.  Despite lots of searching by the whole family the missing piece was not found, and thus a little section of the front entrance now looked damaged.

Not so with your life.  Jesus reinstates your life fully, beyond criticism and rebuke of the devil.  Despite the cracks and faults of the past, God has restored you fully in Him.

“When someone becomes a Christian he becomes a brand new person inside.  He is not the same any more.

A new life has begun!”

2 Corinthians 5:17

TODAY, accept your life as completely renewed!
