Brand names

You see them all the time in the city - people who have all the right brand names. Their clothes, handbags, caps, shoes, sunglasses, and plenty more, all fitting the image they want to create.

 

Have they made it?  Is this the ultimate?  Is there anywhere else to go from here?

 

Being a Christian is quite the opposite.  If you are walking with Him it is likely that you'll be ridiculed, looked down upon, even spat upon.

 

But we are instructed to ... count it all joy!  But you may ask - How can this be better than the brand names?

“For anyone who keeps his life

for himself shall lose it,

and anyone who loses his life

for me shall find it again.”

Matthew 16:23

 

Have you been lost to Him, or are you still chasing brand names?
