Biscuit dipping

by Bruce Wadd

There may be some of you with a similar fetish. I just love on a cold winter’s morning to prepare a hot coffee with two biscuits ready for dunking.

Then it is important to take the time to dip carefully, watching them go from firm to soft, pulling them out at the right time, saturated with hot delicious coffee. Mmmm!

On the very odd occasion I lose one or two portions, dropping into the hot brown liquid.

I simply wanted to encourage you today to become saturated in God’s presence this morning.

Finding that difficult? Just stop and meditate on Him, and who He is. Go for a walk outside. Appreciate a dawn, watch a sunset, look at your children as they play, marvel on God’s creation!

He has promised…

“And I will give you a new heart – I will give you

new and right desires – and put a new spirit within you.

I will take out your stony hearts of sin

and give you new hearts of love.”

Ezekiel 36:26

TODAY, may you be fully ‘dipped’ in His glory and love!
