Be patient

by Bruce Wadd

It’s the words that irritate often, even as an adult. But when you are a child or a teen, having a parent make a final instruction about being patient, is so annoying. I really gets under your skin!

But when you think about it, what good things come from waiting - a good wine; a baby walking; tasty delicious fruit; a bird hatching; an excellent athlete; a  brilliant concert pianist… and the list has only started!

To develop the quality of character, that is not only admired, but lasts through challenging times, patience is one of the most important aspects.

God is doing a work in you if you allow Him. Are you patient? Are you obedient and faithful to Him, to what He has called you to do? If so, here is a promise to rely on for today

“For the Lord is faithful to His promises.

Blessed are all those who wait for Him to help them.”

Isaiah 30:18b

TODAY, be patient… the rewards will come!
