Bathed in air-conditioning by Yesterday I was walking along a street in hot and humid
summer conditions when a wisp of coolness floated over me from an automatic
opening door of a large department store. Like a dog standing on the back of a ute with nose
firmly in the breeze, I was attracted to this coolness. It was just so inviting, given that I was
sweating all over, and lethargy ruled both mind and body. As I walked through that closing door my whole being
slipped into an oasis of coolness, seeping into the innermost parts of my
heat-stressed body. Oh, Yes!!!! Mmmm!!
I’d arrived. Wouldn’t it be great if your home, and your church, were
like the air-conditioning? When people come within your circle of influence…
