Bad grapes

by Bruce Wadd

I

It is summertime and the grapes are on the table.  But what do you do when you discover some bad ones? Do you throw the whole lot out?

God hints that there will be both good and bad in His church.
He won’t throw them out, but He refers to a remnant…
a people with a true and deep love for Him!

Without going into detail, I have recently moved beyond traditional church, knowing that God is calling me to a new place, dimension, and paradigm of ‘church’.

With the reading, talking and praying that I’ve been doing
over the last few months I wonder how this concept of remnant works in 21st C.  Does God have a body, a church that He is raising up?

He loves mystery, and now is no different, so the boundaries we humans establish are either shattered or challenged by the wind of the Spirit.

“I will preserve a remnant of my people

to possess the land of Israel; those I select

will inherit it and serve me there.”

Isaiah 65:9

Contemplate what God is doing in, through, under, around, and outside your church! Why not let me know what He is doing in your life…

Are you part of His remnant church?
