Babycino

by Bruce Wadd

The young child sat watching her mother almost mesmerized by the cappuccino experience. She has seen it many times, and now the day had come.

“What would you like to order?” asked the waitress of this maturing young lady. “I’d like one just like mummy’s” she uttered with joy. The order-taker looked at mum and got the nod of permission. “Make it a babycino,” came the mother’s confirmation.

Minutes later the child was sitting totally absorbed in the ‘cino sipping’ experience, with a milky moustache spooning out white fluff.

What are you modelling for your offspring? With the people around watching you as a Christian, what can they see that is desirable to copy?

Whether we like it or not, we are living our value system, as a parent, a spouse, a work colleague, and a community member.

Let me encourage you to daily sit at Jesus’ table, watching and learning from Him!

“I will instruct you (says the Lord)

and guide you along the best pathway for your life.

I will advise you and watch your progress.”

Psalms 32:8

TODAY, Jesus is inviting you to feast at His table!
