A week makes

by Bruce Wadd

Living in the worst drought in recorded history, our part of Australia continues to struggle under the burden of dry weather.

But recently we have moved into a cycle of rain every day. Not lots, but gentle soaking rain.

It’s now been five days and it seems like the earth is smiling this morning. The birds, the grass, the trees, the flowers, the crickets… even then air just seems relieved and filled with freshness.

What a difference a week makes!

Have you been living through parched times? Where life, even God seems so dry?

Let me encourage you to tell Him exactly how things are for you. Because I know there will come a time of gentle Holy Spirit rain in your life, where you will look back and be amazed at how quickly and profoundly you have changed.

Here is David’s description of people who follow Him…

“They are like tress along a river bank bearing luscious fruit each season, without fail. Their leaves

shall never wither, and all they do shall prosper.”

Psalms 1:3

TODAY, stay in God for the drought-breaking rains!
