Always there

by Laila Azer

He came up to me asking, “Dad, can you help me with my math homework?”

I looked at him admiringly, sat down beside him, and started to show him how to do it.  He listened carefully, and started working with me following my instructions.

Finally, it was done.  He cried out loud “YEAH! We did it.  Thanks Dad! Couldn’t have done it without your help”.  I warmly said, “I am always there for you, son.”

Sometimes in our lives we cannot make it by ourselves, we need help from others around us It is ok to seek help from others, as a matter of fact, Jesus told us …

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree

on earth concerning anything that they ask,

it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

For where two or three are gathered together

in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Matthew 18:18-20 (NKJV)

Reach out to others; they might need your help!
