Along the way

by Bruce Wadd

Every day it’s the same. I take my dog for a walk, and get some exercise happening at the same time!

But along the way, without any intent on my part, I collect ‘stuff’… baggage… interesting and unexpected paraphernalia.

Sand in the socks, smelly dog poo, water off the long grass, cobwebs on the face and arms, sweat on my brow… just to name a few!

Thus the job when I return home, to clean off unnecessary collections.

Our daily walk through life is probably the same, with most of the ‘stuff’ attaching itself to your mind and/or your heart.

I don’t know about you, but I certainly need cleansing every day. You might be the same!

Thank God for His grace, that He is more than willing to start again with us like we are brand new.

“So get rid of all that is wrong in your life, both inside and outside, and humbly be glad for the wonderful message

we have received, for it is able to save our souls

as it takes hold of our hearts.”

James 1:21

TODAY, enjoy the journey!
