Air-brushed cover

How many magazines are there in your local newsagency or corner store?

They seem to be all the same. Some celebrity splashed across the front cover, looking a ’million dollars’ with perfect skin, teeth and complexion. Nothing seems to be out of place… they seem perfect!

But I can’t help but wonder about what’s on the inside? Are there the same fears, hesitations, dreams, challenges faced by the rest of us ‘mere mortals’.

That’s right, we can look so good on the outside, but my increasing years have told me of God’s interest in my interior. He wants to impact my heart, mind and soul. That’s where He wants to air-brush!

So let me ask you, how is the inside changed? Perfected? Read carefully…

“But you have received the Holy Spirit

and He lives within you, in your hearts,

so that you don’t need anyone to teach you what is right. For He teaches you all things, and He is the Truth,

and NO liar;

and so, just as He has said,

you must live in Christ, never to depart from Him.”
