‘Aha’ discovery by Ever been with people when they have that ‘aha’
experience? One of my tasks in life is to train teachers in
computing. I often, therefore, get the comments like, “Now I finally
understand how it works” or “Gee, I never realized that you could do that.” One day a teacher I was working with made a classic
discovery. She’d been using this
particular piece of software for almost three years, mainly learning by
herself. She was a competent computer
user, but was open to learn whatever was on offer. She happened to press a new combination of
keys and came up with something totally unexpected. “Oh, I didn’t realize that!” came the unprepared
response. She was amazed at her discovery! Just think…for the rest of your life…and into eternity, you will be saying those kinds of comments and more, as you get to know God.
