It’s all about me by
It is a time when all the focus of the parent is on caring for this infant. Making sure adequate food, comfort, shelter and love are provided so that the babe will continue to grow and mature happily.
But, just imagine if you had to occupy a space with a bellowing twenty-year old – how incredibly embarrassing! Having this person totally focussed on his or her own needs would be so inappropriate as an adult. But how many people do you meet that are craving a constant spotlight?
At least you’re not like that, or maybe you are? Here is a reality check – ‘it’s not all about you… it’s about God!’
Remember… your ultimate happiness comes in being God focused and directed!
“He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord.” Isaiah 26:3

It’s happens, rarely at
the moment given the age of my children, but at times I walk into a room or
restaurant where there are screaming children. Immediately my mind goes into
recoil, remembering the times when my two offspring were at a young age.
